About DKR Care

DKR Care help clients remain comfortable at home by providing them the helping hand they need. Some clients are only looking for companionship while others require more involved personal care services, and or overnight services. Our office staff will talk with you to discuss your needs.

In addition to our home care services, we also do commercial and heavy domestic cleaning.  We have clients that have needed full domestic cleaning and rubbish removal.

As covid becomes our new normal, we have taken steps to ensure the safety of our support worker and clients.  All support worker are vaccinated and have personal protective equipment which they use whenever they care for clients.

To provide the best care, we hire and retain the most qualified DKR Care in the industry. All our DKR Care are:

  • Insured.
  • Covered by worker’s compensation.
  • Required to pass a criminal background check and have a clean driving record.
  • Screened for our values and other traits such as honesty and conscientiousness.

Every employee also undergoes an assessment to identify characteristics such as our values including; compassion and reliability. After hiring our employees, we also give them ongoing training with in-person and online learning opportunities. Whether it’s knowing how to recognise stroke symptoms or learning effective communication skills.
